ABOUT THE ROLE

The Senior Manufacturing Execution Manager will lead high-volume battery cell manufacturing operations within a complex, hybrid production environment combining continuous and discrete processes across semi- and fully-automated lines. Reporting to the Head of Production, this role holds end-to-end responsibility for production execution, including day-to-day performance management, strategic capacity ramp-up, digital integration (MES), and cost and quality target achievement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage the daily execution of production across all shifts and areas, ensuring adherence to quality, cost, delivery, and safety standards.
• Oversee a growing workforce of up to 500 individuals including managers, supervisors, engineers, team leaders and operators.
• Lead the production readiness and ramp-up strategy, ensuring stable capacity increases, scalability, and process reliability.
• Contribute to the digital transformation of the plant by aligning with data analytics, IoT initiatives, and automation upgrades.
• Ensure consistent compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements across all production areas.
• Align operations with key KPIs such as OEE, cycle time, scrap rate, efficiency and adherence to takt time.
• Translate strategic manufacturing targets into actionable production plans and action plans for deviations or disruptions.
• Provide coaching and development for production management and team leads, fostering a strong leadership pipeline.
