Description

SR MARKETING ADVISOR

Location: Remote
Compensation: Project-based
Engagement Model: Initial project-based engagement (~4 weeks) to set up processes and upgrade existing content, followed by fractional support (~10 hours/month) to monitor and refine systems.
Success Metrics: Success will be defined by establishing scalable workflows, optimizing 300+ blog posts, creating documented SOPs/SOWs, and ensuring the marketing team can execute effectively.
Nova Scholar Overview: The world is moving rapidly toward specialization, but most students still graduate high school without ever exploring what they truly care about, let alone building real skills in those areas. Only 24% of U.S. high schoolers report feeling engaged in school, and many don’t discover their core interests until well into adulthood after critical opportunities have already passed.
At Nova Scholar, we believe students shouldn’t have to wait. We connect high schoolers with world-class mentors to pursue ambitious, personalized research and innovation projects in fields like AI, medicine, and public policy. Whether publishing original papers, building apps, or filing patents, our students leave with clarity, confidence, and tangible outcomes.
We’re reimagining education for the future: deep, outcome-oriented learning rooted in curiosity and guided by expertise. Our team includes extraordinary individuals, from entrepreneurs and Olympians to some of the nation’s top academic minds, all united by one mission: to democratize access to the kind of learning that changes lives for students everywhere.
Job Summary: We’re seeking a Senior Marketing Advisor to design and implement scalable processes that elevate our marketing function. This role is focused on systems, oversight, and training rather than day-to-day content creation. You’ll set up workflows (Airtable/Looker) to manage blog and social media publishing, create SOPs and SOWs for the marketing team, oversee a large-scale blog upgrade project, and establish a sustainable content process. After an initial setup phase, you’ll provide ongoing fractional support to ensure quality and consistency as the team executes
