Description
Provides direct operations equipment support to manufacturing areas and carries out hands-on investigation and troubleshooting of equipment issues. Supports the development and commission of pilot-level standalone fixtures, and semi-automated or automated equipment. Develop test plans, protocols, and reports to ensure designs meet product and part specifications, regulatory requirements, and applicable standards for new equipment and processes, including IQ/OQ/PQ protocols Performs validation IQ/OQ/PQ protocols, test protocols, ensures equipment/processes meet specifications, performance, regulatory, and business requirements. Collaborates and communicates with company interdepartmental groups, including Quality Assurance, R&D, ITOT, and Process Engineering to provide documentation and operational support. Collaborates with R&D by providing technical support for new products and processes. Support the commissioning and sustaining of new equipment changes. Analyze manufacturing failures of mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and instruments, and provide corrective and preventative solutions and actions. Experience in working with PLC, HMI, robotics, and vision systems. Experience with applying statistical tools used to assist in the development and troubleshooting of products and processes. Ability to remain adaptable and flexible in a changing environment. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 2-5 years related experience or Master's degree and 0-2 years' equivalent experience.
