Description
Primary Purpose of the Job Provide technical design and engineering services in Mechanical Engineering for all assigned engineering projects. Achieving the technical quality of work in accordance with QatarEnergy procedures, whilst considering quality, schedule, cost and HSE. Required Experience and Skills 10 years relevant post graduate experience, of which 6 years should be related to the Oil & Gas industry in both Static and Piping disciplines. Expert level competency is required at least in one of the discipline areas (i.e., static or piping). Ability to identify and utilise relevant engineering standards, international codes, and company standards, related to Mechanical Engineering. Proven ability for effectively managing time, cost, and quality in either greenfield or brownfield engineering major projects as well in multiple project environment for the discipline engineering. Having experience in concept development, Front End Engineering Design (FEED), EPIC, and technical support to site/plant operation. Good communications and presentation skills with fluency in English. Educational Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Chartered Engineer / Professional Engineer status or equivalent is preferable.
