TriVector’s Experience and exceptional Performance adds measurable Value to every project. TriVector Services, Inc., is seeking qualified candidates to fill our Senior Mechanical Engineer position.

The Sr. Mechanical Engineer will directly support the Missile Defense Agency staff in the office of Ground Based Midcourse Defense, Next Generation Interceptor. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Analysis of structures, structural mechanics, failure modes and fatigue analysis.
  • Support planning for future missile defense capabilities and requirements.
  • Lead Technical Interchange Meetings across multiple technical disciplines.
  • Lead Working Groups during the absence of Civilian or Military Chairs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Candidate must be a US Citizen.
  • Candidates with a STEM Bachelor’s degree and at least 20 years of applicable experience will be considered. Additionally, a candidate with a STEM Master’s degree at at least 12 years of relevant experience will be considered.
  • Must have at least 12 years of related experience in Structural analysis as a Mechanical or Aerospace Engineer.
  • Candidate must have demonstrated Experience in the Aerospace Industry (large projects, missiles, rockets, spacecraft, aircraft).
  • Good oral and written communication skills are required. Demonstrated experience briefing at the CEO and/or General Officer/SES level is a requirement.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A Master’s degree in STEM is highly desired.
  • MDA Experience is a plus.
  • The development of documentation for Engineering and Program Reviews is a desired skill.
