Job Summary Join the team that is revolutionizing the timing industry with the best silicon Microelectromechanical Systems (MEMS) timing products in the world. As a Sr. MEMS Development Engineer, you will use your technical and creative problem-solving skills to develop MEMS technology and resonators for SiTime’s next-generation timing products.It is not necessary to meet all job requirements to be a qualified candidate for the position. Responsibilities: * Design MEMS devices and characterize their electrical, mechanical, and thermal performance * Extend and enhance automated infrastructure for MEMS characterization and design * Perform Failure Analysis on SiTime products * Design, run, and analyze experiments to understand device physics, materials and fabrication * Interface with local and overseas vendors * Work in cross-functional teams, including Circuits, Systems, and Packaging * Drive and/or support projects and other company goals as needed Qualifications & Requirements (Education must be included):    * MS in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, Physics or equivalent. PhD preferred. Exceptional candidates with other technical backgrounds will be considered * 1+ years of industry experience preferred * Ability to design, conduct, and analyze experiments * Excellent knowledge of mechanics, electrodynamics, thermodynamics, and fundamentals of MEMS devices. * Coding proficiency with MATLAB or Python and measurement automation experience preferred * Finite Element Simulation experience preferred * Printed circuit board design experience and oscillator fundamentals preferred Desired Characteristics & Attributes: * Excellent organizational, interpersonal skills, and written and verbal communication * Excellent critical thinking * Passion for delivering exceptional results * Ability to work well with others in a collaborative fast-paced team environment At SiTime, we believe great work deserves great rewards.
