Job Details Job Location: Grove City, OH Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $18.16 - $22.70 Hourly Travel Percentage: Up to 10% Description The Buckeye Ranch is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Sr. Mental Health Technician to join our Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF). The Sr. Mental Health Technician will provide one-on-one and group supervision, intervention, and behavioral leadership of clients to establish and maintain a trauma informed positive treatment environment and desired treatment outcomes. The Residential Campus, a division of The Buckeye Ranch, offers behavioral health and child welfare programs across a wide continuum of care. We proudly serve over 5,000 children and families annually, with a strong foundation in family centered, trauma-informed care. Shift Differential: Added to base rate when working the below hours PRTF: $2.00/hr 2nd Shift (3p - 11p): $1.50/hr Weekends (Fri, 3pm - Mon, 6:59am): $0.50/hr Schedule: Full-time | Non-Exempt | 2:30pm-10:30pm | Sunday - Thursday or Tuesday - Saturday What you'll do: Assists clients in developing age-appropriate activities, behaviors, and interpersonal skills. Sets and obtains conformance to clear behavioral limits appropriate for the client's background and development Understanding special issues regarding age and developmental disabilities Helps with establishment of daily goals and follows up to assure attendance and participation in scheduled activities Work with the program coordinator and clinician to develop program schedules Identifies indicators of age-appropriate development in all domains for children of varying ages Supervises individual and group activities and behaviors to establish and maintain a positive treatment environment Understanding special issues regarding gender identity/crisis, substance use, mental health conditions, and other needs typically presented by the service population Implement and supports the trauma informed culture for all the clients within TBR's care, including positive interactions with families, taking a strengths-based approach, and appropriate communication with all involved systems Our benefits: Benefit effective date: First of the month following 30 days of employment Wonderful medical, dental, vision insurance Generous paid time off Free Lunch Professional advancement opportunities Overtime opportunities And more...
