JOB DESCRIPTION

• Responsible for developing and implementing metallurgical processes, controls and improvements in support of product development, working quality and engineering teams and ensuring customer specs are being met
• Will handle technical documentation and reporting
• Will provide technical support in the R&D lab
• Will handle material failure investigations and make recommendations for modifications and improvements
• Will be the technical P.O.C on issues such as alloy, casting, heat treatment and NDT

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Background in super alloys – cobalt, titanium, nickel, iron, steel or castings
• 10 years of experience is preferred but will look at 5-7 years
• Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgical or Materials Science Engineering degree
