Description
Manage a team of engineers with expert-level technical support for CVD photoresist deposition and dry plasma development, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and escalation management. Act as the primary technical contact between customers, field teams, and the Aether Product Group, ensuring clear communication and rapid issue resolution.Lead on-site and remote engagements, including installation, training, and optimization of new and existing products to maximize customer success. Gather and relay customer feedback to the Aether Product Group to influence product improvements and future designs.Document technical issues, lessons learned, and best practices to prevent recurrence and improve customer experience. Collaboratively engineer innovative semiconductor equipment and process design solutions to quickly resolve customer issues and improve product quality in a dynamic fast-paced challenging environment. Lead a team of engineers that will interact with lab ops, HW engineering, and other product engineers to design and conduct experiments, tests, and prototypes to resolve complex technical problems. Focus on productivity aspect of the Aether productsSupports product development from product prototyping, development, deployment/product release, and initial field support.Present analysis and support technical recommendations clearly and concisely. Advanced degree (Ph.D. with 3+ years, MS with 6+ years, or BS with 8+ years) in engineering or related technical field.Strong background in CVD deposition and/or conductor etch Proven experience in customer-facing technical roles with excellent problem-solving skills.Exceptional communication skills—able to explain complex technical concepts clearly to customers and internal teams. Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 30% to support customer sites. Highly motivated self-starter with a collaborative mindset and ability to work in fast-paced environments. Experience managing engineers working on performance related issues and escalation handling. Project management skills including data collection planning and cross-functional alignment. Strong presentation and influencing skills to guide customers toward recommended solutions. Proficiency with data analysis tools and presentation software.
