POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Manager of International Communications will oversee and drive Royal Caribbean Group’s global communication strategies for Europe and Asia This role involves crafting long- and short-term communication plans aligned with the company’s Strategic Communications Plan The ideal candidate will possess geopolitical expertise and a comprehensive understanding of in-market complexities working closely with in-country brand leaders and corporate headquarters to serve as a day-to-day communications advisor in Europe and Asia
Reporting to the AVP of Corporate Communications the Senior Manager will join a highly collaborative team acting as a strategic relationship-driven communicator with strong emotional intelligence creativity and the ability to work under tight deadlines The role requires building and managing relationships with media and stakeholders developing crisis communication plans and supporting global reputation management

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in journalism English Communications

  • or related field (preferred)10+ years of experience in strategic media relations public relations
  • or international communications
  • Experience working with Corporate or Public Affairs teams is highly desirable
  • Proven success managing communication teams or projects across multiple international markets
  • Experience with “always-on” newsroom operations and crisis communications
