We’re looking for a dynamic Senior Manager, Marketing APAC to join our team based in Melbourne, Australia. This critical leadership role has dual responsibility: driving regional marketing strategy across the Asia Pacific (APAC) region and overseeing the execution of strategic initiatives within our local Olympus Australia & New Zealand Surgical Device portfolio.

As the Senior Manager, you’ll:

  • Lead the development and execution of strategic marketing plans for the Surgical Device business across APAC.
  • Identify key market opportunities for growth, expansion and share gain.
  • Drive commercialization, product launches, and holistic patient management strategies in collaboration with regional stakeholders.
  • Develop existing relationships with core industry groups in both OAZ and the APAC region.
  • Lead a team of talented marketers and contribute to a culture of innovation, trust, and performance.
  • Be the key connector across local, regional and global functions — collaborating with Sales, Regulatory, Finance, Medical and Clinical Affairs (MSA), and the Global Business Unit.
  • Support the development of go-to-market strategies, healthcare professional engagement and market education.
  • Stay ahead of healthcare trends and ensure Olympus remains at the forefront of the industry.
  • Have a core understanding of market trends in the Surgical environment
Responsibilities
  • A Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of proven success in medical device and technologies marketing management.
  • Strong experience leading cross-functional teams in a complex, matrixed environment.
  • Commercial acumen with a strategic mindset, and a hands-on ability to turn insights into action.
  • Deep understanding of Surgical Devices and Energy market dynamics, health systems, and reimbursement environments across the APAC region.
  • Japanese fluency highly desirable
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently as required within the region
