As a Samsung Account Manager for a leading carrier in the US, you will be the primary point of contact for all matters specific to your designated channels within the carrier account. You will be responsible for building and maintaining a strong, long-lasting relationship with channel leaders, understanding their business needs, and ensuring that Samsung delivers tailored solutions that drive mutual growth and success.

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for any NCME matters specific to the Verizon Account.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key Verizon account owners.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to Verizon’s needs and objectives.
  • Develop new business with Verizon and identify areas of improvement to meet sales goals.
  • Conduct F2F meetings with Verizon account owners to develop joint GTM plans, align on quarterly NCME sell-out targets and quarterly SD spend.
  • Collaborate with Local Market leadership teams to develop Sales & Marketing programs that drive product awareness and sell-out opportunities
  • Develop incentives, promotions, and training programs that materially impact revenue growth
  • Lead internal GTM plans to effectively launch new products by working cross-functionally with marketing, training, content, and product teams.
  • Partner with Verizon CRM team to build NCME promotional campaigns. Develop Customer Retention promotions/messaging and track performance
  • Utilize current analytics tools to inform all critical decisions, measure ROI, and provide reporting to key leaders in the organization.
  • Develop new sales analytics tools that utilize point of sales data at a store level to improve sell-out
  • Manage MDF/SMF budget allocated to Local Market GTM and promotional campaigns
  • Daft Joint Marketing Agreements, Proof of Performance and process Payment Requests through N-ERP
  • Forecast, track and report key account metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts).
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree; plus 8+ years of Sales Strategy, Operations, and Management with direct Customer Management experience.
  • Minimum 3 years carrier management experience.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience bringing products to market.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact at the executive and all levels within customers’ organizations and within the SEA organization.
  • Deep understanding of the consumer journey within the carrier.
  • The ability to negotiate with and convince others, in a potentially adversarial environment, including customer leadership, VPs, directors & managers, staff, and vendors with opposing views to accept/approve plans, technical and project recommendations.
  • The ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple business development programs and simultaneous performance objectives.
  • The ability to write, read, interpret, explain, and act on a thorough understanding of technical documents, engineering materials, and contracts or related documents based on corporate legal and customer applications, engineering standards, and business philosophy.
  • Ability to make professional sales and business presentations in writing, through email, reports, or orally, including complex business and technical matters to an audience of high technical skills, management, and operational experience.
  • Interact with all levels within the organization and has frequent external contacts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience using analytical tools to inform all critical decisions, measure ROI, and provide detailed reporting to key leaders in the organization.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of Samsung mobile products and accessories.
  • Experience in presenting sales growth initiatives and results to Sr Executives.
