OVERVIEW

Our client is hiring key resources for their large program/contract supporting Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA)’s Hosting environment. These roles will support a critical mission for HRSA; maintaining Hosting, Networking, Security, Server, Identity and Access Management, and Tier II Operations in support of the HRSA mission in a 24x7x365 environment.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of network engineering experience supporting Cisco network infrastructure (Cisco ISE required)
• Switches/routers, VPN troubleshooting, technical documentation, vulnerability remediation, performance monitoring, LAN/WAN, etc.
• 3+ years of hands-on networking experience in a hybrid Azure Cloud environment
• Extensive hands-on experience implementing and troubleshooting Palo Alto firewalls
• Experience with IPv6 protocol for virtual network connectivity
• Experience deploying and managing Zscaler (Zero Trust, Internet Access, Private Access, etc.)
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust, Tier 2 clearance (successfully pass a thorough Government background screening process including fingerprinting)

Preferred Skills:

• Experience supporting HHS or NIH programs for the government
• Experience with both Zscaler and NetScaler
• Cisco and/or Palo Alto Networking Certifications

Responsibilities:

• Network Engineering, Administration, Patch Management, Vulnerability Remediation, Security Compliance, Performance Monitoring/Tuning
• 24x7x365 infrastructure operations support serving in on-call rotation, Hybrid Environment (Azure and on-prem)
• Working within team for successful completion of all tasks within the Statement of Work for assigned area of responsibility within server, storage, backup operations
• Will review monitoring tools to identify trends and proactive identification of potential customer impacting events
• Recommending changes to processes or procedures to improve efficiency or reduce costs in future projects

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $60.00 - $80.00 per hour
