OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing and architecture, with a focus on designing and implementing scalable and secure cloud solutions. As a Cloud Architect, you will play a critical role in shaping our cloud strategy, ensuring that our infrastructure meets the needs of our clients while adhering to industry standards and best practices.

SKILLS

• Familiar with Cloud Native architecture paradigms, patterns and security methodologies.
• Experience designing solutions within and working with the Oracle OCI environment
• Oracle OCI specific certifications (Cloud Ops, Architecture, Security, etc)
• Experience working with cloud reference model models, creating diagrams and other design documentation
• Experience with implementing, migrating or managing operating systems/applications in an enterprise cloud computing environment.
• Knowledgeable of cloud networking architectures utilizing virtual networks, VPN, Subnets, network security groups. load balancers, etc.
• Experience performing reviews of proposed changes & projects relative to the security and controls of an IT environment.
• Ability to review technical solutions for technical and fiscal accuracy
• Skilled in oral and written communication as it pertains to technical information
• Experience working with security and regulatory frameworks such as NIST, PCI, CJIS, FedRAMP, etc.
• Experience working with cloud native technologies such as containers, serverless workloads, functions, database as a service, etc.
• Able to work with minimal supervision and under specific deadlines.
• College degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with scripting and build tools such as Jenkins, Github, Terraform.
• Experience working with configuration management and monitoring tools such as Fleet Application Management, Puppet, OCI Monitoring, Splunk, etc.

• Design, review, and implement Oracle OCI services and solution offerings.
• Collaborate with customer agencies, managed cloud suppliers, and internal teams to ensure secure, efficient, and compliant solutions.
• Apply best practices and Oracle Well-Architected Framework to cloud environments.
• Conduct reviews of proposed projects and changes with a focus on IT security and compliance.
• Provide expertise in implementing, migrating, and managing operating systems and applications in enterprise cloud environments.
• Document architectures, processes, and operational standards.
• Support cloud networking architectures (VNETs, VPNs, subnets, NSGs, load balancers, etc.).
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, delivering clear documentation and presentations.
