Position Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our team as Sr. Officer – Process Development. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in Organic Chemistry and proven expertise in peptide chemistry and process development. This role requires independent project execution, technical proficiency in SPPS synthesis and API purification, and a collaborative approach to drive innovation and ensure process excellence. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities: Independently manage projects, including designing Reaction Optimization Strategies (ROS) and conducting R&D scale experiments Plan and execute Solid Phase Peptide Synthesis (SPPS) activities with reproducible results Perform Peptide API purification using Preparative HPLC Operate, clean, and maintain instruments/equipment in accordance with SOPs Identify and recommend improvements for continuous process optimization Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including online records, process logs, and R&D documentation Collaborate effectively across departments to ensure seamless coordination Adhere to all safety protocols and utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) Required Skills & Qualifications: M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry or equivalent discipline For M.Sc. candidates:Minimum 5 years of experience in Peptide R&D For Ph.D. candidates: Fresh graduates or those with less than 5 years of experience may be considered Key Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of peptide chemistry and SPPS techniques Hands-on experience with Preparative HPLC and related analytical instruments Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent documentation and organizational skills Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities Why Join Us at PolyPeptide Group: PolyPeptide Group offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of peptide-based therapeutics, a rapidly growing and innovative segment of the pharmaceutical industry.
