JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Okta Account Executive will be responsible for selling Okta Professional Services to clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong Okta Sales background and at least 5 years of experience as an Okta Account Executive or Sales professional. The candidate should be able to build and maintain relationships with clients, and have a proven track record of success in sales. The Okta Account Executive will work remotely and will be responsible for meeting sales targets and driving revenue growth.

  • Okta Sales background 3 to 5 years
  • Selling Okta Professional Services
  • 5+ years of Okta Account Executive / Sales experience
  • Building relationships with clients
  • Lead business development efforts working with sales counterparts with our key software partners
  • Understand market segmentation of target clients and potential fit with relevant business processes, technology platforms, market offerings and ecosystems
  • Identify target contacts and relationships within potential clients and conduct initial conversation(s) to explore opportunities
  • Qualify opportunities and engage appropriate PMs/SMs for follow up conversations as needed
  • Build and maintain client relationships
  • Track and record metrics throughout sales process
  • Meet and exceed financial goals
  • Bachelor’s degree
