    Qualifications

The Senior Operations Analyst supports clinical and administrative leaders to enhance operations, advance strategy, and improve financial performance through data extraction and analysis. The individual in this role is responsible for extracting data from clinical and financial sources, building dashboards and summary reports, and presenting findings to leaders at multiple levels of the organization. The ideal candidate is skilled at drawing insight from data, is detail oriented, and has strong written and verbal communication skills.What You Will Do

  • Lead discovery and requirement gathering process with clinical and business stakeholders to inform analysis
  • Extract, analyze and summarize data from clinical and financial data systems
  • Visualize data in creative ways that bring data and insights to life and is consumable in the business and operational workflow of end users
  • Develop ad hoc reports, recurring reports and dashboards that support the operational and business needs of the organization
  • Assist Strategic Planning Manager in the development of business plans through baseline data collection, market insights, and revenue modeling
  • Monitor and summarize key insights from monthly volume, revenue and expense reports for the organization
  • Build and maintain subject matter knowledge on hospital operations, practice operations and market trends to enhance participation in organizational decision making
  • Provide deliverables with high level of accuracy through appropriate testing and validation
  • Presents findings and orients end users to reports in a way that ensures effective use of analytic tools across the organization
  • Capacity to work independently, ask questions and seek guidance as appropriate to ensure project throughput
  • Promotes effective team communication and strong working relationships with clinical and administrative members of the organization and data analysts across the University Hospitals system
