As an Order Fulfillment Technician, you are responsible for the final stage of the product’s lifecycle in our manufacturing facility. This position’s main function is pulling sales orders and preparing them for delivery, verifying accuracy of product type and quantity. Additionally, the Order Fulfillment Technician conducts quality checks to ensure labels are accurate as they prepare orders. This role is also responsible for tracking products electronically on the State traceability system to ensure compliance with state laws and program regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Effective time-management skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to work well with others while also completing individually assigned tasks.
  • Additional Requirements
  • Must be at a minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Must possess valid state ID.
  • Must be able to obtain, and maintain, state badging requirements to work in the cannabis industry (requires background check and state review).
Responsibilities
  • Operate a forklift cherry picker to retrieve finished goods from vault storage in accordance with order manifests.
  • Pick and stage dispensary-specific sales orders, ensuring accuracy in product type, quantity, and destination.
  • Verify and apply compliance and marketing labels on all finished goods, ensuring alignment with state regulations and internal standards.
  • Use Excel and internal systems to manage inventory tracking, order status updates, and daily reporting logs.
  • Scan and trace product movement through the state traceability system (e.g., Metrc or BioTrack) to maintain full regulatory compliance.
  • Transfer products safely from pallets to carts or totes in preparation for final delivery staging (up to 50 pounds).
  • Cross-reference and validate manifests, ensuring unit counts and product labeling match dispensary requirements to prevent rejections.
  • Seal, organize, and prepare totes for outbound delivery, following SOPs for transport readiness.
  • Collaborate with Fulfillment Leads and QA to resolve order discrepancies or labeling concerns prior to dispatch.
  • Participate in daily team huddles and Gemba walks, sharing updates or barriers to achieving shift fulfillment goals.
