Description
Job Description: Responsible for preparing circuit schematic and designing PCB layouts for PMP projects using Cadence Allegro software. Design PCB with compliance to EMI and safety requirement, coordinate with R&D design engineers. To lead the complex PCB design and analysis of new circuits and systems, selecting components to implement the design. Plan and perform PCB design. To Design and implement new PCB designs that meet the electrical, EMC, mechanical, thermal and DFA/DFM requirements of the system. PCB specs release and qualification. Fully document, archive and manage pcb database and parts library as required. Follow quality management system activities within the group. Share lessons learnt across team Help manufacturing team to increase productivity & quality by implementing the changes as suggested. Qualify primary and secondary pcb part sources. Produce pcb assy BOMs as required. Interact with PCB vendors & procure prototype pcb materials as necessary. Domain Skills: • Cadence Allegro PCB design software proficiency Preferred: Hand’s-on experience with Steady and Transient simulation using ANSYS IcePak or Flotherm, CAD modelling exercise using Creo. Diploma/B.E./B.Tech with >10 years of relevant experience
