About the role As a Senior Pega Application Engineer, you will make an impact by designing, developing, and optimizing Pega applications that enhance user experience and streamline case management processes. You will be a valued member of the Technology & Engineering team and work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders across the Payer domain. In this role, you will: Develop and enhance Pega applications to meet evolving business needs. Implement Pega Reporting and Data Integration strategies to support data-driven decision-making. Optimize user experience and accessibility through Pega UX and Mobility features. Manage Pega Case Management workflows to improve operational efficiency. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is an onsite position requiring 5 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Bartlett, IL. Rest assured; we will always be clear about role expectations. What you need to have to be considered: 6–8 years of experience in Pega Platform and Application Development. Strong proficiency in Pega Reporting, Data Integration, and Case Management. Experience optimizing Pega UX and leveraging Mobility features. Familiarity with PEGA Decision Hub and its application in business processes. Knowledge of the Payer domain and its specific requirements. These will help you stand out: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Experience mentoring junior developers and conducting code reviews. Passion for staying updated with the latest Pega technologies and trends. Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until October 25, 2025 The annual salary for this position ranges from $102,000 to $116,000, depending on experience and qualifications of the candidate. This role is eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
