MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • 7+ years of experience in Finance, Business Intelligence, Strategic Planning, HR and/or business administration in an analytics role
  • 7+ years of experience in a complex organization
  • Experience working in multiple areas within the HR Function and/or healthcare setting is preferred

THE ROLE

McKesson’s People Analytics team delivers better people and business outcomes through data, leading to actionable insights. As a member of the People Analytics Team, the Sr. People Analytics Consultant will deliver people analytics and insights to PSAS (Pharmaceutical Solutions and Services), McKesson’s largest Business Unit. This Business Unit is comprised of core distribution, oncology, operations, and various specialty business – a unique opportunity to make an impact!
Through close partnerships with HR, Business Leaders, Strategy, Finance, and other key stakeholders, the Sr. People Analytics Consultant will gain a sound understanding of business objectives and use consulting skills to provide and interpret insights from workforce data. The Sr. People Analytics Consultant will directly support PSAS’s HR and Business Leaders. This role requires an individual who is passionate about using data to drive business results, has a curious mind, and strong analytical, and consulting skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Gain strong understanding of business goals and use analytical skills to make data-driven workforce strategy recommendations to support business objectives
  • Partner closely with the PA team, HR, Finance, and Business Leaders to provide strategic decision support through data and analytics
  • Rapidly perform exploratory data analysis, generate and test working hypotheses, and uncover trends and relationships
  • Communicate results of analysis to other analysts, HRBPs, and leaders throughout the organization. Help tell stories with data and make recommendations by interpreting the “so what” and “now what” from analysis.
  • Consult with clients and seek to understand the root of the client’s challenge for which data and analytics can be leveraged
  • Generate repeatable and scalable solutions across PSAS to enable quicker and more actionable insights, while creating nuanced solutions where appropriate.
  • Lead broader consulting engagements diving deeper into people analytic forecasting trends
  • Identify opportunities to bring advanced analytics to consulting opportunities for deeper engagements and more impactful actions for HRBPs and Business Leaders
  • Partner with COEs and Workforce Planning to create, measure and impact talent strategies with key and forward looking people data
  • Leverage external market data and integrate into forward looking action plans to guide leaders in addressing their workforce plans, budgets and strategic goals
  • Partner closely with HRBPs to incorporate a data insight lens into broader organizational planning initiatives and consult with other areas of HR enabling the talent pipeline
  • Validate HR data integrity in collaboration with PA and the HR Operations teams
