Primary Purpose JOB EXPECTATION: Engage in job duties outlined below, to reduce risk exposure in areas of cyber and physical security; and to promote our mission of safeguarding the people, property, reputation and shareholder value of the corporation. PURPOSE: Research, guide, and implement integrated, cost-efficient physical security systems (e.g. CCTV, Access Control, intrusion detection & alarm systems, etc.) for the Company's significant operating facilities. Provide project oversight to requirements gathering, scoping, design, execution, and other critical project activities. Act as the subject matter expert (SME) on electronic security systems by communicating to engineers, vendors/integrators, manufacturers, internal IT organization groups, business leads, and end users; provide all necessary coordination between internal and external groups. Maintain security system operational controls and provide high-level core system troubleshooting expertise. Pursue and implement corrective actions from hardware failure identification activities, isolating system and user errors and recommending enhancements. Act as a liaison to field operations, project managers, and Business Unit leadership in the areas of design and implementation of physical security systems, identifying and recommending electronic access control equipment, monitoring performance, and identifying synergy opportunities. Support the security vulnerability assessment process by providing systems details, hardware recommendations, operational designs/enhancements, and budget development. Develop physical security standards for systems and operational support; implement system changes or upgrades. Note: This is a hybrid position (in-office with remote flexibility). Employees are required to be in office at least three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). This position must sit out of our Owings Mills - MD, Baltimore - MD or Washington - DC office. Primary Duties Oversee and support various security projects by providing design recommendations, vendor engagement during the bid process, and implementation, testing and commissioning, project close out, and turnover effort monitoring Drive operational support to corporate physical security systems, including the management of security integrator relationships, escalation of problem resolutions, and security operations center support, as needed Research, develop, and evaluate security products for implementation as corporate standards Develop and maintain physical security documents, standards, and procedures Job Scope Interface with various Company personnel (i.e. design engineers, integrators, IT organizations, compliance, end users, Operating Company security organizations, and Business Unit management) to develop, implement, and maintain an integrated physical security system, compliant with Exelon's physical security standards and industry regulatory requirements, protecting critical infrastructure and operating facilities Educate internal team, Operating Company Business Units, and analysts about infrastructure protection standards, procedures, and technologies Work independently with approximately 80% of efforts on field assignments and 20% of efforts in office Overnight travel of 10-15%, extended hours possible for project completion/support, and on-call rotational support availability Minimum Qualifications 4-7 years of experience with integrated physical security, including enterprise systems environment, or significant direct work experience with physical security systems projects 3 years of project management experience Excellent communication skills, both written and oral Knowledge of PC/desktop workstation: Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio In lieu of a degree, 6-9 years of relevant experience Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree 4 years of experience with integrated physical security systems Certifications: Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or comparable industry designations Systems knowledge: ExacqVision Video platform, Tyco CCure Software House Access Control, Avigilon Rialto Video Analytics, DMP Burglar Alarm Systems, outdoor detection hardware Benefits Annual salary will vary based on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors: $95,200.00/Yr. – $130,900.00/Yr.
