Job Description: The main objective of this role is to ensure that all projects within the portfolio are progressing in line with company goals and contractual commitments. This position acts as a strategic link between Project Managers and senior leadership, facilitating communication, surfacing risks, and proposing actionable solutions. A key responsibility is to proactively identify, assess, and escalate risks, while recommending corrective measures to leadership to maintain project alignment and performance. To support decision-making and strategic oversight, the role delivers a series of structured outputs, including: Weekly and monthly reports detailing portfolio progress and risk status Executive dashboards summarizing project health, critical risks, and recommended actions Recovery and acceleration plans at portfolio level, with quantified impacts Scenario planning through What-if and Time-Impact Analyses (TIA) Maintenance of a comprehensive RAID log (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) Responsibility/Duties: Ensure Compliance with Facility Agreements: Ensure all documentation and requirements are in accordance with the facility agreement for technical advisors. Milestone Tracker: Maintain a milestone tracker aligned to contractual obligations and invoicing events. Support Project Managers: Assist Project Managers in preparing reports and other necessary documentation. Review Change Orders: Evaluate change order proposals, including cost comparisons, to ensure they are justified and accurate. Schedule Management: Oversee the preparation and updating of integrated project schedules, ensuring alignment with actual progress and company priorities. Review Progress Reports: Ensure that weekly and monthly progress reports from EPC Contractors are delivered on time and in the correct format. Analyze Project Progress: Conduct analysis of project progress versus the schedule or acceleration plans and provide weekly reports on project schedule, milestones, and forecasts. Challenge and Support Project Managers: Regularly review project status with Project Managers, challenge assumptions, and ensure robust risk management practices are in place. Risk Reporting: Prepare and deliver clear, actionable risk reports to company leadership, highlighting critical issues and proposed mitigation strategies. Reporting and Presentations: Compile and present weekly and monthly progress and risk reports to the Planning & Control Director, company leadership, and external stakeholders. RAID Log Oversight: Approve the RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) log created by Project Managers, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timely escalation of critical items. Common Taxonomy: Standardize reporting layouts, filters, and codes; maintain a common taxonomy across projects. Project Documentation: Ensure all project documentation and reporting meet internal standards and external requirements. Follow up on Critical Actions and Blockers to ensure timely resolution and progress. Create and optimize Procedures: to enhance planning efficiency and effectiveness.
