THE ROLE:

The successful candidate will assume responsibility for post-silicon activities related to performance characterization and optimization of AMD Datacenter products

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Become a key stakeholder in power and performance definition process
  • Develop and Execute performance characterization and optimization test plans for different usage scenarios (High performance compute, Machine learning frameworks, etc.).
  • Analyzing interactions between various power management features and optimize their configurations for performance
  • Exploit core architecture bottlenecks to test and mitigate worst case scenarios
  • Support prototyping experiments for improving current and implementing new features that impact performance
  • Debugging and troubleshooting system-level issues that may occur in test environments and platforms
  • Proactively driving continuous improvement for post-silicon performance activities
  • Workload automation for performance data collection
