Job Description This position holds critical responsibility for the comprehensive design, engineering, and coordination of plumbing, water supply, drainage, and firefighting systems for airport and metro station projects of significant scale and complexity. Develop and rigorously review all design calculations, technical drawings, and comprehensive specifications for plumbing and firefighting systems, ensuring absolute adherence to project requirements and regulatory standards. Guarantee full compliance of all designs with applicable national and international standards, building codes, and project-specific mandates, with documented verification at each design phase. Orchestrate seamless integration across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines through structured coordination meetings and technical reviews to ensure design coherence and constructability. Conduct thorough technical evaluation of all vendor submissions and shop drawings, providing authoritative approval or detailed corrective feedback to maintain design integrity. Execute comprehensive site visits to validate design assumptions, provide technical direction, and resolve on-site engineering challenges with immediate authority and accountability. Provide expert technical input for tender documentation preparation, Bill of Quantities development, and material specification to ensure procurement accuracy and project delivery excellence. Qualifications B.Tech/BE in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised university. 10 to 15 years of experience in designing plumbing systems for airports and metro station projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and relevant design software. Strong knowledge of international building codes and standards (e.g., ASHRAE, IEC, NFPA). Excellent communication and teamwork skills with client-facing experience and willingness to travel. Additional Information Expertise in water supply, drainage, and firefighting system design. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and relevant design software. Good understanding of NBC, IS codes, and international standards. Strong coordination and communication skills.
