The Senior Portfolio Analyst plays a critical role in enabling strategic decision-making and operational excellence across the Data & AI portfolio. This role is responsible for driving portfolio-level insights, optimizing resource and financial planning, and enhancing governance through robust tooling and reporting. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in portfolio management, frameworks, advanced tooling (Jira, Power BI), and a passion for continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Portfolio Management & Governance

  • Lead continuous improvement and maintenance of portfolio lifecycle frameworks, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy and governance standards.
  • Support intake, prioritization, and benefits realization processes across business units.
  • Monitor portfolio health, risks, and dependencies, providing actionable insights to leadership.

Tooling & Data Integration

  • Administer and optimize portfolio management tools including Jira, ensuring accurate data capture and workflow alignment.
  • Design and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support executive decision-making, operational transparency and ensure a unified view of portfolio performance, resource utilization, and financials.

Financial & Resource Planning

  • Lead the aggregation and analysis of portfolio budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic funding priorities, ensure accurate tracking of actuals vs. forecasts and support quarterly planning cycles.
  • Lead the continuous improvement and maintenance of capacity models and resource forecasts to support proactive workforce planning and scenario analysis.

Process Improvement

  • Identify and implement opportunities to streamline portfolio processes, championing automation and standardization across portfolio reporting and governance practices.
  • Collaborate with PMO and delivery teams to evolve portfolio maturity and tooling capabilities.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Act as a trusted advisor to delivery and business partners, providing clear, data-driven insights and recommendations to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between business, technology, and finance teams.
  • Develop and deliver high-impact communications, including portfolio reviews and strategic updates.
