Job Title: Sr Power BI Strategic Consultant - Designer/Architect (Part Time)
Location: Fully Remote (U.S. based candidates)
Type: 1099/C2C Independent Contractor - Part Time 20 hours per week
Pay Rate: $70-80/hr

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Senior Power BI Designer to lead the strategic direction of our enterprise data visualization and analytics initiatives. This role is ideal for a candidate who not only excels in Power BI development but also brings thought leadership in data storytelling, AI integration, and business intelligence strategy.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Power BI development, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and SQL.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure services (e.g., Synapse, Data Factory, Azure ML) is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI/ML tools and frameworks, especially within the Microsoft ecosystem.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and mentor junior analysts.
