JD-Power Electrical Engineer Be part of a team that designs, develops and integrates highly complex and advanced inverter for electrical powertrain system within Garrett Advancing Motion organization. You will participate in the development and certification of product functionality across multiple programs. This will enable you to support new products, processes, standards or operational plans within the organization's business strategies, with a direct impact on business unit/function overall results. Apply engineer knowledge, tools, and principals to develop new innovative systems Grow and develop your technical knowledge in a team-based culture focused on innovation and customer satisfaction Drive continuous improvement and lead change in a premiere organization YOU MUST HAVE: Bachelor or master ’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or Automation Engineering ; Experience in 3-phase full bridge topology, Pspice circuit simulation , schematic drawing , PCB Layout , thermal design , subcomponents SOR compile and test ; Experience in power electronics (IGBT/SiC/GaN)/Film capacitor/Gate driver/Isolated Power supply of electrical drive system inverter development ; Preferred knowledge for embedded system: Multi-Microprocessor , SMPC and analog and digital signals measurement ; Experience in HW FMEDA/WCCA/EMC filter/Grounding design and EOL specification for inverter ; Understand EMC generated source , conducted path ,filter topology ,grounding and shielding knowledge WE VALUE: ▪ At least 5+ years’ experience in hybrid or EV inverter development; Demonstrated ability of contributing innovative technologies and applications for products ; Diverse and global teaming and collaboration , also good English communication .; Develop and mentor members and junior engineers in both technical issues and in proper behaviors with internal and external customers ; Familiar with hardware test instrument and measurements . POSITION ROLES Traction inverter power stage hardware development. Product design upgrade, hardware design spec. Support HW DFMEA and failure root cause analysis, benchmark activities ; Model development, Verification & Validation for customer project Customer fast response support during project execution
