UPMC Altoona is seeking a dynamic Senior Practice Manager to lead operations across Hospital Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Dental, and Behavioral Health. This full-time, weekday role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care and practice performance. What You’ll Do As Senior Practice Manager, you’ll oversee all aspects of practice operations to ensure exceptional patient experience and efficient workflows. Key responsibilities include: Leading strategic staffing decisions for office coordinators and practice managers Managing practice budgets and financial performance Cultivating a patient-centered culture aligned with consumer-focused initiatives Acting as liaison for internal departments and external construction partners Developing strategic growth plans and identifying new market opportunities Ensuring compliance with UPMC policies and procedures Supporting physician relations, contract negotiations, and practice valuations Driving recruitment efforts for staff and new practices Evaluating and improving operational systems for greater efficiency Monitoring benchmarks related to scheduling, access, and point-of-service performance What We’re Looking For We prefer candidates with physician practice management experience, along with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
