POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sr. Analyst, Commercial Finance & Pricing reports to the Sr. Director and supports daily operations and key data initiatives. This role builds pricing capabilities and processes from the ground up while partnering with finance, sales, and operations. Strong analytical skills are essential to maintain and develop metrics that drive business effectiveness and efficiency. The focus is on maximizing sales and gross margin through strategic insights and performance tracking.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required; MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum three to five years of progressive experience in an organization of appropriate scale and complexity with strong Finance acumen.
  • Experience leading and building process and capabilities for pricing management, preference in CPG industry.
  • Must have a high level of competency in Microsoft Excel, experience creating and delivering power point presentations.
  • Knowledge of JDE and/or Oracle, PowerBI, PowerApps, TPM is a plus.
    Pay Range: $90,000-$110,000 Pay is commensurate with education, experience, skills, and certifications

Responsibilities
  • Develop procedures, evaluate resource requirements, and help with the implementation of pricing tools and capabilities.
  • Manage the various price lists. Add new items, publish updates to price lists.
  • Work with Data management to keep in sync with price list, changes to JDE.
  • Work with Purchasing to monitor raw material/commodities vs plan.
  • Work with Marketing on the price architecture, relationship between channels and customers.
  • Responsible to create monthly sales reporting for forecast and budgeting process.
  • Accountable to establish and track Promotions, Allowances and Marketing programs.
  • Develop and monitor customer and sku/product profitability highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance to achieve financial targets, including the implementation of process and tools to track and manage cost changes, commodity fluctuations at this level.
  • Assist and perform research and analysis in special projects on an ad-hoc basis as needed.
  • Conducts activities in accordance with GAAP, internal audit controls, policies, and guidelines.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
