QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI’s potential impact on the function or industry.
  • 15+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution strategy, and program leadership.
  • Proven experience engaging at CIO/CTO level to influence platform direction and business outcomes.
  • Track record of defining multi-workflow, enterprise-scale architectures and governance models.
  • Strong ability to operate as a program-level architect, guiding multiple teams and partners toward a unified vision.
  • Expertise in platform strategy, integration patterns, and complex delivery governance.
  • ServiceNow Certified Master Architect (CMA) plus other architecture and governance framework certifications are highly desirable.
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a program-level architecture role designed for our most strategic and complex customers. As a Senior Principal Architect, you will act as the architect of architects, shaping platform strategy, governance, and value realization across enterprise-scale programs and multi-geo environments.
Your purpose is to engage at the executive level (CxO and Enterprise Architects), define a long-term architecture vision, and ensure all delivery teams—ServiceNow, partner, and customer—align to that vision to drive business outcomes at scale.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Own enterprise platform strategy across large, multi-workflow, multi-geo engagements.
  • Engage with CIO/CTO and senior stakeholders to align platform vision to business objectives and outcomes.
  • Serve as the program-level governance leader, setting architectural standards and guiding Principal Architects and partners.
  • Define governance frameworks and operating models for complex delivery environments.
  • Anticipate and mitigate strategic risk across programs, ensuring scalability and platform health.
  • Provide thought leadership across industry forums and influence ServiceNow product direction with feedback from the field.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU HAVE:

  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI’s potential impact on the function or industry.
  • 15+ years progressive experience as part of a professional services organization; or equivalent education/experience
  • Management consulting experience
  • Ability to travel up to 80%
  • Creativity with comfort running programs independently within a “startup paced” environment
  • Experience driving complex issues through analysis and resolution
  • Ability to relay complex information to diverse set of audiences, both technical and non-technical
  • ServiceNow certifications in aligned workflow
  • Industry domain expertise in desirable
  • Large program experience leading architecture and design
  • Enterprise architecture experience
  • Cloud application technology experience
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture Framework like TOGAF, IT4IT, etc.
