BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Doctorate degree PhD OR PharmD OR MD [and relevant post-doc where applicable] and 3 years of directly related experience

Precision Medicine is seeking an innovative scientist to drive novel target discovery at the intersections of translational research, human genetics and disease biology. In this vital role you will validate novel target nominations supported by real world evidence and human genetics through functional and mechanistic investigation. This individual will lead a small team of experimental biologists integrated within a broader collaborative target discovery working group spanning therapeutic areas and modalities, computational biology, precision medicine and the human genetics team at deCODE genetics. Success in these efforts will have the impact of advancing novel targets into drug development and ultimately the clinic
