Northrop Grumman Aeronautic Systems has an opening for a Sr. Principal Structural Analysis Engineer to join our team of qualified diverse individuals. This position will be located in Oklahoma, OK and is assigned to 1st shift 9/80 schedule.
Primary function is supporting Aircraft Structural Integrity Program (ASIP) for mature programs and other sustainment engineering efforts. Secondary functions in structural modification stress analysis supporting a high paced development effort. Looking for an Engineer who has experience with ASIP and analyzes, researches and develops structural engineering specifications involving metals, non-metallic or composite structural materials. Analyzes damage tolerance, durability of metal and composite airframe structures. Knowledge of random vibration analysis. Tools utilized may include Catia, FEMAP, Patran, Nastran and a variety of software applications.
