This role is critical in reducing cost, improving quality and sustainability, and driving best practices within a fast-paced electronic manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities * Organize, implement, and maintain production processes * Develop and maintain assembly instructions, workmanship standards, and process documentation * Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase quality, productivity, and cost efficiency * Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for manufacturing issues (process, equipment, or programming related) * Collaborate with production planning to ensure assemblies have proper programs, documentation, and processes * Provide and analyze manufacturing data to track performance against targets * Partner with Design Engineering on DFX initiatives, including: * Design for Cost * Design for Test * Design for Manufacturability * Design for Assembly * Interface with suppliers regarding manufacturing processes * Research and justify new manufacturing technologies to enhance capacity, quality, and cost savings * Program manufacturing and inspection equipment Knowledge, Skills & Abilities * Advanced knowledge of circuit card manufacturing and assembly processes * Experience with SMT processes, programming, setup, and operation * Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Design of Experiments (DOE) * Knowledge of IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards * Strong technical writing and documentation skills * Strong analytical skills (data analysis, trend analysis, reporting with charts/graphs) * Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documents * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) * Strong communication and problem-solving skills * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Required Education & Experience * Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field + 7 years of experience OR Associate degree + 9 years of experience OR High school diploma + 12 years of relevant experience * Experience in electronic and/or electromechanical manufacturing * Experience in ISO 9000, ISO 13485, or AS9000 regulated environments * Hands-on experience with SMT circuit card assembly processes and equipment Why You’ll Love Working Here * Competitive pay and great benefits— including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off * Be part of a company that’s growing, changing, and full of new opportunities * A supportive, team-focused culture where your ideas matter * Meaningful work that impacts industries making a difference in the world ---------------------------------------- Intervala utilizes and/or develops certain technologies which are subject to the U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR) or the U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
