Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Procurement Consultant to join our team on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in developing and implementing sourcing strategies across various direct and indirect procurement categories to align with business objectives. Your contributions will encompass supplier evaluation, cost-saving initiatives, and process improvements that enhance efficiency and drive growth.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement both short- and long-term sourcing strategies to optimize procurement across assigned categories.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address supply chain challenges and minimize disruptions.
  • Negotiate comprehensive agreements that meet quality standards, reduce risk, and maximize purchasing power.
  • Identify and qualify suppliers to ensure product availability and adherence to organizational standards.
  • Drive innovation in product development and supply chain processes to enhance efficiency and reduce overall costs.
  • Lead cost-saving initiatives across the category portfolio to achieve financial goals.
  • Manage procurement for high-impact products with significant financial and operational implications.
  • Oversee cross-functional projects that improve procurement processes, including forecasting, cost modeling, and inventory management.
  • Participate in product business teams as the strategic category representative, providing key insights and support.
  • Coordinate complex, enterprise-wide projects involving multiple departments such as sales, customer service, finance, and operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
  • Proven expertise in negotiating contracts for direct materials, services, or ingredients.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to present data-driven recommendations effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and implement strategic programs successfully.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills, fostering mutually beneficial supplier relationships.
  • Familiarity with import/export requirements, compliance documentation, and customs processes is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% as required by the role.
