Description
As a Sr. Product Designer for Hertz, you will be responsible for leading the product development of our consumer-facing digital products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams with project managers and product owners to ensure that our digital products are strategically driven, user-friendly, efficient, and reliable. You will be responsible for being the voice of the users, managing and communicating user feedback, and designing user interfaces/experiences that meet our business objectives and customer needs.   What You’ll Do: * Lead design efforts for specific products or features within consumer-facing digital platforms. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as product management, engineering, and data science to solve complex problems and ensure the highest quality solutions. * Conduct user research to test features and incorporate user feedback into design iterations. * Leverage data insights to inform product iteration. * Work with developers and QA to ensure the user interface is functional and meets design specifications. * Ensure consistency and quality across the product experience. * Create UX deliverables such as storyboards, sitemaps, wireframes, flowcharts, prototypes, user interfaces and leadership presentations for Hertz's consumer-facing digital products * Contribute to the evolution of the design systems. * Mentor junior designers and provide feedback to elevate design quality.   What We’re Looking For:  * Bachelor's degree required * 5+ years of experience in UX/product design required * Strong portfolio showcasing consumer-facing digital products, preferably in eCommerce or similar B2C domains. * Strong understanding of user centered design principles and methodologies. * Strong knowledge of design tools such as Figma and Photoshop * Strong knowledge of AI tools such as ChatGPT, UX Pilot, Figma Make * Experience with Amplitude or similar data analytics tools. * Experience leading design projects and mentoring junior designers. * Experience conducting user research and applying insights to design solutions. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills   The salary for this position starts at $125K commensurate of experience.
