As a Senior Product Developer focused on apparel, you will use your knowledge of product development and processes to bring innovative designs to market. You are the link between design, merchandising, technical design, planning, and factories. It is essential that all communication is accurate, complete, timely, and professional. Therefore, we entrust you to develop quality, on-time, and cost-efficient products that are a reflection of Vuori’s aesthetic and ethos. What you'll get to do: Own end-to-end product development lifecycle for assigned category from concept through production readiness. Accountable for ensuring assigned categories meet margin, calendar, quality, compliance, and buy readiness targets. Lead cost negotiations with vendors to achieve target margins while protecting product integrity and brand standards. Analyze cost drivers and propose commercially viable alternatives aligned with business strategy. Own accuracy and integrity of all product data within PLM, including style details, BOMs, costing, technical properties, and buy readiness status. Validate cross-functional data alignment prior to key milestones (Line Lock, Buy Readiness, PO Release). Act as a PLM power user and process advocate; identify opportunities to improve system accuracy and team efficiency. Serve as a primary liaison between vendors and cross-functional partners (Design, Technical Design, Merchandising, Production, Materials, Trims/Color). Translate technical, cost, and calendar implications clearly to cross-functional stakeholders to support informed decision-making. Collaborate with Design and Technical Design to ensure technical packages align with innovation, function, fit, and commercial viability. Participate in fittings and ensure vendor communications are clear, accurate, and commercially aligned. Oversee performance and compliance testing for assigned category and mitigate risks prior to buy readiness. Own WIP accuracy and proactively manage time & action calendars to ensure on-time milestone execution. Drive vendor accountability for sample submissions, cost transparency, and development timelines. Partner with Production to ensure seamless transition from development to bulk execution. Mentor and support development of Assistants, Associates, and Developers through training, coaching, and feedback. Model professional communication, negotiation skills, and solution-oriented problem solving. Advocate for process discipline, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across the team. Qualifications Who you are: Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Manufacturing or equivalent years of experience preferred 7+ years of product development experience is required and/or product management experience with an understanding of managing product from concept through completion. Sense of fashion and trend in relation to the market Knowledge of materials used in the engineering and manufacturing processes used to build products Intermediate Computer Drawing skills for technical and construction details or related art using Adobe Illustrator a plus Intermediate to advanced computer skills with emphasis on Excel & PLM Systems (Centric) a plus Aptitude for systems and systematic work Must possess strong knowledge of costing, garment construction, and all pre-production coordination. Expertise within Denim and Natural bottoms a plus Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements International travel experience is a plus; possible international travel required Willing and able to work additional hours when needed. Bend, lift, open and move product and related office items varying in weight from 1 to 25lbs, depending on need.
