QUALIFICATIONS

• MSc or PhD in (Bio)Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in project and team management in a comparable industrial or R&D environment

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior Product Development Scientist, you will take ownership of the design, development, and optimization of biomaterial formulations — including ceramics, polymers, and metals — for bone replacement applications. In this role, you will manage multidisciplinary projects across various phases of the product development lifecycle, from early research to regulatory submission.
You will be expected to lead technical teams, manage external vendors, and align R&D efforts with regulatory and business objectives. This is a highly collaborative and hands-on role suited to a proactive scientist with strong leadership and communication skills.

You will play a critical role in ensuring regulatory readiness, including:

• Writing and reviewing SOPs for analyses and methodologies
• Preparing documentation for regulatory approval (e.g. clinical evaluations, literature reviews)
• Performing and overseeing risk analysis
• Ensuring compliance with quality systems and Design & Development procedures
• Suggesting improvements to the Quality Management Syste
