Key Responsibilities * Product Line ownership & financial performance: * Own the commercial success of the product line, including bookings, revenue, profitability, pricing strategy, forecasting, and execution of actions required to achieve financial commitments. * Sales partnership & customer development * Serve as the primary product leader for Sales, driving market execution, supporting strategic opportunities, developing new customers and applications, and building strong relationships with existing customers to accelerate growth. * Product Lifecycle management * Lead the full product lifecycle from concept through end-of-life, ensuring alignment with customer needs, market trends, business objectives, and operational capabilities. * Business planning & NPI governance * Develop market, revenue, and bookings forecasts while coordinating inputs from Sales, customers, Operations, and Finance; own business case development and phase-gate decisions for New Product Introduction (NPI) opportunities. * Cross-functional leadership * Lead through influence across Engineering, R&D, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Sales to align priorities and execute product strategies that meet customer commitments and business objectives. * Product, technology & growth strategy * Develop and execute multi-year product and revenue roadmaps, leveraging customer insights, market trends, competitive intelligence, and technical expertise to identify and commercialize new growth opportunities. * Executive presence & customer engagement * Effectively communicate product line performance, business cases, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership while representing the business with key customers and external stakeholders. Qualifications * 10+ years of experience in product management, engineering, or a related technical/commercial role * B.S. in a related technical * Experience in high-tech manufacturing environments, ideally related to Photonics, Photonics or Advanced Materials * Proven track record of owning revenue and profitability for a product or business line * Demonstrated ability to work across Sales, Engineering, and Operations in a matrix environment with excellent communication skills * Seasoned customer-facing experience with the ability to influence technical and business decisions. * Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills Safety Requirements All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp.
