We’re seeking a hardworking, experienced and driven Sr. Product Manager to lead Core Search Intelligence and Algorithm for the App Store, from query understanding to ranking and relevance. You’ll advance our search experience by experimenting with core ranking systems, deepening semantic understanding of apps, user intent, and context. You’ll own features like search suggestions, spell correction, hints, and search results that guide users to success. This role also leads fraud and abuse prevention in search by developing ML models that maintain quality and trust. Additionally, you’ll define model requirements across international storefronts to ensure great search results globally.
DESCRIPTION
Define, deliver, market, and measure search experiences on the App Store by leveraging algorithms and AI/ML technologies across all our platforms - iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS and visionOS. Have a strong understanding of the search product and user needs, define clear strategy, tactics and evaluation metrics from both objective and subjective perspectives, identify problems through well-founded evaluation methods, and drive optimization. Design search results optimization strategies through data analysis and user analysis, continuously iterate search experience. Guide the team in developing advanced AIML solutions in alignment with Apple values. Collaborate with different cross-functional teams to form policies and practices that uphold privacy, trust, safety, and AI principles to deliver a premium user experience. Partner with Engineering and Program Management teams to build innovative and delightful best-in-class search experiences using latest technologies. Lead competitive analysis, customer research, and product metrics evaluations to define features that drive engagement and usage.
