The Sr. Production Software Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining custom software applications for manufacturing support and automation.
This position reports to the Sr. Process Engineering Mgr. and is part of the process engineering team located in New Brighton, MN and will be an on-site role.

THE ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB INCLUDE:

  • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a technical engineering degree with relevant work experience.
  • 5+ years C# .NET , SQL , and SCM
  • Good verbal, documentation, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt to quickly changing requirements.

IT WOULD BE A PLUS IF YOU ALSO POSSESS PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN:

  • 2+ years of WPF experience
  • 2+ years of ASP.NET experience
  • 3+ years of requirements gathering
  • 3+ years of software design

    The salary range for this role is $120,000 – $140,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
    This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain in-house C# applications, both desktop (WPF) and web-based (ASP.NET). Implement and maintain a Software Configuration Management system for managing in-house applications.
  • Document SDLC process updates and software engineering change orders.
  • Train process engineering on usage of SCM tools to maintain in-house applications.
  • Collaborate with the process engineering team on usage of SCM tools to maintain in-house applications and validation of application updates (IQ / OQ).
  • Coordinate with operations to deploy software changes during downtime windows. As well as support IT on verifying software services after monthly maintenance windows.
