POSITION OVERVIEW

TELUS Digital is seeking a full-time Strategic Program Manager of Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) effective immediately. Empowered to develop and drive the strategic sustainability plans and programs at TELUS Digital, working in partnership with TELUS Corp., the role is diverse, fast-paced and evolving as the needs of our company, our customers, our investors, our regulators and the planet change.

Responsibilities: Reporting jointly to the VP, Operations TELUS Digital and the Director of Sustainability & ESG at TELUS, the Strategic Program Manager is responsible for creating and supporting the implementation of TELUS Digital’s global ESG plan, including but not limited to:

• Working with team members around the world to develop and further the company’s sustainability efforts
• Collaborating with current and prospective customers on shared ESG priorities and commitments, including regular disclosure and updates
• Writing and coordinating all the details for the annual TELUS Digital Sustainability & ESG Report and other rankings and indices as required;
• Monitoring and ensuring readiness against emerging regulations (e.g.: ESRS, SEC etc)
• Running ESG-focused programs and managing projects
• Tracking and reporting on various subjects including environmental sustainability, diversity, equity and inclusion, corporate social responsibility, impact sourcing and more
• Serving as a global prime for Corporate Social Responsibility across TELUS Digital
• Partnering with the Legal team on the development of policy and governance documents
• Acting as a resource for data and information across the company and with our parent company, TELUS Corporation.
• The Sr Program manager will strategize and share the story of TELUS Digital’s caring culture, internally and externally, by writing content, motivating others and driving results in pursuit of our ESG priorities. The candidate must be able to work independently but collaboratively. This role has no direct reports.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• University degree in a subject related to ESG or Sustainability.
• ESG courses and/or certification appreciated Experience in ESG for a large, global company is preferred.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Excellent writing, strong interpersonal and communication skills are required. The successful candidate must be extremely organized and detail oriented, while still maintaining a key focus on the ‘big picture’. A storyteller at heart, the Sr Manager of ESG at TELUS Digital should seek ways to share and amplify our caring culture story with diverse audiences around the world. Collaboration is critical for this role. There is a need to liaise regularly with members of various teams at TELUS Digital, including Finance, Legal, Facilities, Corporate Social Responsibility, Investor Relations, Human Resources, Sourcing, Communications and Marketing and more. The successful candidate is expected to stay current on evolving ESG-related regulations and disclosure recommendations around the world.

QUALIFICATIONS ET EXIGENCES :

• Diplôme universitaire dans un domaine lié à l’ESG ou à la durabilité.
• Des formations et/ou certifications en ESG sont appréciées. Une expérience en ESG au sein d’une grande entreprise mondiale est préférable.
