QUALITY SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

  • In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.
  • Assures that appropriate resources (personnel, tools, etc.) are maintained in order to assure Quality System compliance and adherence to the BSC Quality Policy.
    Establishes and promotes a work environment that supports the Quality Policy and Quality System.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of relevant project leadership experience in R&D or Operations either leading projects or as a team member leading significant segments of projects
  • Bachelosr or Licenciature in Business Administration, Engineering or related.
  • Strong organization and execution skills will be required, as well as a demonstrated ability to confidently handle the top responsibility for project completion
  • English: 90-94%

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in both pre-launch and post launch product support activities preferred, with the most emphasis placed on post launch work. Broad product knowledge across multiple franchises is preferred over individual product expertise
  • Previous experience in Operations or Divisional Sustaining Organizations
  • Experience in managing multiple projects concurrently
  • Project Management Master degree desirable
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and a deep understanding of internal SOPs is a plus
  • PMP certification a plus

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Associate Project Manager will be responsible for leading the execution of Sustaining Engineering projects and related work stream activities for medical device products within the Electrophysiology division. Project activities include all product support activities from first launch to the end of product life for multiple products.
Project size will range from small one-off tasks to more complex design changes. Associate Project Manager, using cross–functional team members from R&D, Design Assurance, Packaging, Labeling, Regulatory, and Operations, will simultaneously handle multiple projects of various sizes.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Provide input to resource needs and prioritization
  • Generate high-level plans, communications, and schedules on larger projects
  • Identify and coordinate activities required to complete the project or task through the team
  • Ensure timely completion of activities ensuring policies and practices are followed and accurate documentation is kept
  • Effectively lead team ensuring good cross-functional communications and provide input to functional managers on team and team member performance
  • Identify, communicate, and manage moderate levels of technical risk
  • Delegate and manage tasks among team members as appropriate to their skill level and risk to the project
  • Identify and clear barriers or appropriately escalate so the team can progress
  • Resolve conflicts with team members and involve functional management as required to ensure timely project completion
  • Make occasional presentations to upper management
