Job Summary The Senior Project Manager is responsible for end-to-end delivery of complex, client-facing implementation projects within an engineering-driven environment. This role owns project execution across scope, timeline, budget, and quality, ensuring alignment with both client objectives and technical delivery constraints. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, the Senior Project Manager leads cross-functional teams across engineering, product, and client stakeholders. The role is accountable for delivery outcomes, including financial performance, risk management, and client satisfaction, across multiple concurrent projects. Responsibilities Client Implementation & Delivery Ownership Own full lifecycle delivery of multiple concurrent client implementation projects, ensuring alignment to contractual scope, timelines, and budget Serve as the primary point of accountability for project outcomes, including delivery quality, financial performance, and client satisfaction Translate client requirements into structured delivery plans aligned with engineering capabilities and constraints Ensure successful project completion, including testing, client acceptance, and production readiness Planning, Financial, and Risk Management Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, timelines, and milestone tracking Manage project financials, including budget tracking, forecasting, and variance resolution Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across technical delivery, resourcing, and client dependencies Govern scope through structured change control processes, ensuring alignment with contractual and financial implications Engineering & Cross-Functional Execution Partner with engineering, product, and QA teams to coordinate delivery across the software development lifecycle Manage dependencies, technical constraints, and release timelines to ensure predictable delivery outcomes Drive execution across distributed, cross-functional teams without direct reporting authority Monitor project health using defined metrics and implement corrective actions as needed Stakeholder & Client Leadership Act as the primary interface for clients, establishing trust and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle Communicate project status, risks, and mitigation strategies to internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership Facilitate alignment between technical and business stakeholders to support timely decision-making Drive client satisfaction and retention through proactive communication and delivery excellence Requirements Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple complex, client-facing projects within a software or engineering environment Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and implementation delivery models Proven ability to manage competing priorities and navigate ambiguity across concurrent initiatives Ability to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders without direct authority Strong ownership mindset with accountability for delivery, financials, and client outcomes Technical & Systems Proficiency Advanced working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies Proficiency with project and delivery tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or equivalent) Familiarity with enterprise software implementations, data integration, and system workflows Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools Experience 7–10 years of project management or consulting experience, including client-facing software implementations Experience in financial services, alternative investments, or lending platforms preferred PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, or equivalent certification preferred Language Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Ability to effectively communicate with technical and business stakeholders, including senior client audiences Education/Certifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field What We Offer Health Coverage options along with other voluntary benefits Enterprise Udemy membership with access to thousands of personal and professional development courses 401K with Company match up to 4% or Employee Pension plan Competitive pay and year-end bonus potential Flexible PTO Charitable Donation matching, along with Volunteer and Voting PTO Numerous team building activities to promote collaboration in a fun and fast-paced work environment EEOC Statement Allvue Systems provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) for all employees and applicants for employment.
