Location: Chicago, IL | Hickory, NC | Vancouver, BC | Remote (U.S. or Canada)
Salary Range: $130,000 – $155,000 USD (commensurate with experience and location)

MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years in project management roles within consulting, ERP, or IT services
  • 5+ years of experience managing enterprise ERP implementations (preferably Infor M3)
  • 2+ full-cycle ERP implementation projects as lead project manager
  • Strong background in supply chain or manufacturing environments
  • Proficiency with project planning and reporting tools (MS Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets/Slides)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and interface with senior stakeholders
  • Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall delivery models
  • U.S. or Canada-based, with ability to travel up to 10–15%

NICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS

  • PMI or equivalent Project Management Certification
  • Experience in industrial/process manufacturing or distribution
  • Exposure to enterprise data platforms, analytics tools, or data lake environments

ABOUT THE ROLE

AlphaHire is recruiting a Senior Project Manager – ERP Implementations on behalf of a North America-based ERP consulting firm. In this high-impact role, you’ll lead multiple cloud and on-premise Infor M3 ERP projects across manufacturing, supply chain, and distribution clients.
You’ll be responsible for project execution from planning to go-live—ensuring deliverables are met, clients are satisfied, and internal teams are set up to succeed. This is a client-facing role requiring strong organizational leadership, clear communication, and the ability to manage complex timelines across cross-functional teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery, including scoping, budgeting, scheduling, and resource management
  • Develop detailed project plans aligned to client business objectives
  • Serve as primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
  • Facilitate regular team meetings and client status updates
  • Monitor scope, timelines, resource utilization, and risks; develop mitigation plans as needed
  • Champion the use of Agile and Waterfall methodologies, adapting as needed per project
  • Foster a positive client experience through clear communication and responsive execution
  • Coordinate post-go-live support and turnover activities
  • Lead documentation efforts (training guides, status reports, risk logs)
  • Identify and share process improvement opportunities across the delivery organization
  • Mentor junior consultants and encourage continuous learning within the team
