Reporting to the Production Support Manager, the Sr. Project Manager leads all aspects of Information Technology projects as assigned where the projects could be of high or moderate complexity or multiple medium-scale projects. Responsibilities include project initiation, planning, executing, delivery timeline, quality, communication and budget tracking. Applies project management and SDLC process to projects from the concept through the final implementation as well as ensures that the projects are aligned with IT standards and strategies.  Essential Duties & Responsibilities  * Accountability for the delivery of assigned projects. * Leads the success of moderately complex or multiple medium scale IT initiatives and projects spanning multiple business partners in the completion of new product development, design of new processes, adoption of new strategies and/or programs within time, budget and specification constraints. * Creates and executes moderately complex or multiple medium-scale project plans that may involve multiple disciplines in the information technology field. * Coordinates projects with other on-going efforts. * Leads project teams in the development and implementation of detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports. * Act as mediator between stakeholders and team members.  * Resolve any issues and solve problems throughout the project life cycle.   * Effectively manage project scope by ensuring any changes are documented and approved with project change request forms.  * Provides leadership to assigned project teams to ensure project alignment with the business partner's strategy and objectives.   * Track and report on project milestones and provide project reports to sponsors.  * Monitor and report on project budget. * Manages all activities regarding project risk and change management for moderately complex or multiple medium-scale IT projects. * Leads in the assessment of inter-project/initiative dependencies and gauges the financial impact and risk of the project. * Manages the project scope change process including the facilitation of issue/gap identification and resolution with business partners and systems areas. * Leads the interfaces between IT projects and business partner leadership to ensure collaboration and coordination between the project development staff, management, infrastructure areas, business partners, vendors and external consultants. * Monitors and assesses projects and communicates status to leadership. * Assures proper quality standards are maintained during project execution and delivery. * Leads in the design, development, and implementation of business perspective work plans to determine needed tasks and resources required to complete simple projects. * Provide a project plan and schedule to identify when each task will be performed.   * Identifies and anticipates issues that affect the successful delivery of projects. * Facilitates resolution, mitigation and appropriate escalation. * Work with project sponsor and stakeholders in outlining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget and timing. * Clearly communicate expectations to team members and stakeholders. * Determine if external consultants or contractors will be required to complete the project plan.  If required, recruit and manage appropriate staffing resources. * Ensure all project documents are created and utilized during the project, and safely archived following project completion. * Assist in developing tools and best practices for project management and execution. * Mentor new team members and PMs. * Provides appropriate performance feedback for project team members. * May provide input around the hiring, supervising, training and promotion of candidates. * Provides leadership for internal and external resource management activities including vendor management of distributed resources. * Leads/manages the negotiation and integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables. * Partners with business partners to identify customer needs, recommend potential solutions and vendors across all application system, including into project objectives. * Provide strategic IT thought leadership. * Develop a customer-service focused team, rewarding innovation in solution and service delivery. Supervisory Responsibility  Directly manage project team members from a project perspective but has no direct report management responsibilities.  Education & Experience  * Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business or equivalent experience. * 5 years work experience in project management in the information technology field with 3 years leadership of moderately complex or multiple medium-scale projects. * Experience working with team-oriented, collaborative environments. * Experience with PMI and PMI Methodologies.  Knowledge, Skills & Proficiencies   * Excellent organizational skills. * Proficient with project management tools and/or software packages. * Excellent documentation skills, Visio and other graphical tools. * Reasonable knowledge of software implementation best practices. * Ability to rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities. * Excellent interpersonal, communication (oral and written), leadership, problem solving, analytical and presentation skills. * Ability to elicit cooperation from senior management and other departments. * Must possess key competencies of effective project management such as scope, definition, time management, cost analysis and allocation, human resource management, risk assessment and management, procurement, communication and integration management. * Must have strong problem-solving skills as well as decision-making skills. * Must have negotiation skills to interact with internal and external partners, and stakeholders. * Ability to work in a highly dynamic team and fast-paced environment with continuous challenges. * Ability to work with sensitive or confidential information. * Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently.  * Expertise leading Agile projects and/or working on Agile teams * Must have strong proficiency in Windows, Azure DevOps, Office and creating presentations. * Independent, self-starter, results-oriented and excellent communication skills. * Must be able to work extended hours and weekends/holidays as needed to meet deadlines.
