Description
This position leads in the major project plans, develops budgets and directs both long-and short-term scheduled maintenance outage plans and construction plans. They share the responsibility for the safe, cost effective and timely execution of those outage plans and implementation of major projects with plant management. Projects are often schedule critical for successful completion of plan outages and/or construction projects. Project values are often more than $10M.  Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the following: utility company or similar, lead project manager responsible for executing contracts and project management for overhauls of major steam turbine, generators, boiler feed pump and turbines, turbine valves and associated turbine related equipment, or experience as an OEM turbine technical field advisor, field engineer, or project manager working for the company that provides the turbine overhaul services.   MidAmerican Energy Company, a Midwest utility, provides regulated electric and natural gas service to more than 1.6 million customers in Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota.
