Functions as an informal resource to colleagues, conducts training and on-boards for new employees. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required Work Experience 2 years of experience in general security, military, or other public safety experience where the incumbent actively carries a firearm in the regular course of duty Required or an equivalence of training and job experience to support effective demonstration of responsible handling of weapons and use of force Required Licenses and Certifications DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State Valid Driver’s license & adhere to Piedmont's Healthcare Vehicle Safety Program policy 3500 Upon Hire Required and Must pass pre-employment psychological screening Upon Hire Required and Must pass and maintain all training requirements to maintain employment to include certifications in Firearms, Taser, ASP Baton, Mental Health First Aid, and others as directed Required and IAHSS - Certification As A Security Officer Certified Advanced Healthcare Security Officer (IAHSS) within 1 Year Required Georgia Peace Officer Standards & Training (P.O.S.T.) certification Preferred Business Unit : Company Name Eastside Medical Center
