JOB LOCATION: MALVERN PA

• Seeking a Senior Python Developer with strong Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) experience.
• This role will focus on improving system reliability, setting up monitoring solutions, and optimizing backend API performance.
• The ideal candidate is independent, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Develop and maintain Python Lambda APIs
• Manage and optimize DynamoDB performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve Splunk log issues
• Conduct performance investigations and ensure system reliability
• Set up and maintain Splunk dashboards to track backend API usage
• Implement Honeycomb monitoring for performance and observability
• Lead end-to-end testing for backend services
• Work independently with minimal guidance, as current developers are focused on product build.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• 5+ years of experience in Python development
• Strong expertise in SRE principles and best practices
• Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, and Splunk
• Proven ability to set up monitoring and logging solutions (Splunk, Honeycomb, etc.)
• Experience with backend API performance optimization
• Comfortable working independently in a high-paced environment

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

• Experience with AWS services beyond Lambda and DynamoDB
• Familiarity with GraphQL
