We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to build and enhance modern, scalable web applications across both the frontend and backend. The ideal candidate is a strong full-stack engineer with expertise in React and Python, who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and delivering high-quality software in a collaborative Agile environment. This role requires someone who is adaptable, comfortable working across multiple technologies, and capable of contributing throughout the software development lifecycle—from architecture and implementation to testing, deployment, and production support. Experience working on modernization initiatives and evolving legacy platforms is highly valued. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using React, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), and Python. Build and maintain RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs to support modern web applications. Develop responsive, accessible, and cross-browser compatible user interfaces. Design and implement scalable backend services following service-oriented or microservices architectures. Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and architecture decisions. Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code using unit and integration testing best practices. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and support deployment automation. Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve application performance, scalability, and reliability. Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices across the team. Support modernization efforts, including migration from legacy systems to modern architectures when applicable. Required Qualifications 5+ years of professional software engineering experience. Strong frontend development experience with: React JavaScript (ES6+) TypeScript Component-based architecture State management solutions (Redux, Context API, or similar) Responsive and cross-browser development Strong backend development experience with: Python RESTful API and/or GraphQL development Relational and/or NoSQL databases Service-oriented or microservices architectures Experience with: Unit and integration testing Git-based development workflows CI/CD pipelines Agile/Scrum methodologies Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS preferred). Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Elixir. Familiarity with the Phoenix Framework and Erlang/OTP. Experience with other backend languages such as Ruby or Go. Experience participating in legacy-to-modern platform migrations. Knowledge of event-driven or distributed system architectures.
